Summary
I've graduated from an Independent School and taught in Independent Schools since 1988. I was a tutor as a student - assisting younger children with homework; so I've tutored longer than I've taught:-).
Qualifications & background
I taught Kindergarten for 4 years, 2nd grade for 4 years, and Middle School for 2 years as a Humanities Teacher in DC at Georgetown Day School. I've been a Technology Integrator in NYC at several schools, where I've worked with grades K-12 since 2001 and am presently at The Brooklyn Friends School.

I enjoy learning and it is my desire to make learning fun for others! It has been my experience as a teacher that students learn better & retain more information when they enjoy what is being covered, as much as possible.
